A new beta functionality in HubSpot may be a reason to stop using Loom or similar tools.
You can now record videos directly inside HubSpot — without switching tools, exporting files, or uploading content back into your portal.
For many teams, recording a simple video used to involve multiple steps: record in one tool, download the file, upload it to HubSpot, and then reuse it in emails or pages. This update simplifies that workflow.
Inside Content → Video, you can record:
your screen (browser tab, window, or full desktop)
your webcam
or both combined
Once finished, the video is saved directly to your HubSpot video library.
From there, you can edit the video, add captions, titles, intros, transcripts, and branding elements — including AI-powered enhancements — and then use it across website pages, emails, landing pages, or social posts.
This is particularly useful for:
personalized bottom-of-funnel sales videos
quick product demos and walkthroughs
onboarding tutorials
simple social content
For sales teams that record short, personalized videos daily, removing tool-switching steps can make a noticeable difference.
This update doesn’t change what video is used for — it changes how easily it can be created and managed.
By keeping recording and editing inside HubSpot, teams reduce friction, centralize content, and eliminate the need for separate screen recording tools.
The beta feature is called “Video capture: Record videos directly in HubSpot.”
