These new Service Hub updates will help.Three small but powerful improvements have just arrived in HubSpot’s help desk – all designed to make support work feel a little easier.
You can now close a chat without closing the ticket.
No more lingering conversations or customers thinking you are still typing – simply end the chat and continue working on the ticket when you are ready.
If spam appears in your inbox, you can block it with one click.
Here is what that means in practice:
• Your queue stays clearer because unwanted messages do not accumulate.
• Harmful or suspicious emails are stopped before they reach your team.
• You spend less time manually marking the same senders as spam.
• Your reporting remains accurate because spam will not inflate your ticket volume.
If you block someone by mistake, you can undo it just as easily.
Have a ticket you cannot handle right now? Snooze it and it will return when you need it.
It is ideal for busy days, waiting on information from another team, or simply keeping your workspace organised. Tickets reappear automatically when the customer replies or the snooze time expires.These updates will not solve everything, but they certainly make everyday support a bit easier.
