With HubSpot's latest update, you can now apply colours to property options, making it easier to scan, prioritise and act – without having to read every line. Our brains process colour faster than text. That little red dot? It grabs your attention before you've even read what it means.

Here's how it helps

🔴🟡🟢 You can highlight blockers, items in progress or completed tasks with a custom status property. This visual system allows you to instantly assess project status across multiple records at a glance.
🔥❄️ Your team can colour-code lead temperature so sales representatives can instantly spot hot vs. cold leads. This approach enables your team to prioritise outreach more effectively when warm prospects visually stand out in your dashboard.
📁 The feature allows you to tag lead or deal types with colour to quickly identify which category a record falls into. This creates a more intuitive classification system that reduces cognitive load when managing multiple categories.

Colour Coding to Property Options

A small change, but one that speeds up decision-making – especially when you're working with large data sets and need to spot trends or outliers quickly.

Limitations to note: This feature doesn't apply to pipeline stage properties (deal pipeline stage, contact lifecycle stage) and deal pipeline or ticket pipeline properties. The colours are also not carried over to sync properties.
