Overview of HubSpot's Spotlight Fall 2024 updates

Written by Kristina Keber | September 18, 2024

Every year, HubSpot's INBOUND event brings together some of the brightest minds in business, marketing and sales to explore the latest trends and innovations in CRM and growth strategies. This year at INBOUND 2024, I had the opportunity to watch HubSpot present its Spotlight Fall 2024 Showcase, and let me tell you— it’s packed with exciting updates that will help you work smarter and grow faster.

As we all know, the digital landscape isn’t getting any easier. Marketing, sales and customer service teams are constantly juggling disconnected tools, fragmented data and rising customer expectations. The only way to stay competitive is to use technology that not only optimises workflows, but also provides real, actionable insights. The new updates in HubSpot’s Spotlight aim to tackle these challenges head on, and I can't wait to share some of the highlights with you.

In this blog post, I’ll give you a quick recap of the key updates for Marketing Hub, Content Hub, Breeze AI and Breeze Intelligence. This is just a first glimpse — there will be much more to come as these tools roll out, and I’ll be diving deeper in the coming weeks. For now, though, here’s a quick overview to get you started.

Breeze AI: a smarter way to work

AI is no longer a luxury, it is a necessity. And HubSpot’s Breeze AI is a real step in the right direction. After looking at the updates, I was especially excited about how Breeze AI can automate the repetitive tasks and allow teams to focus on more strategic tasks. With Breeze Copilot and Breeze Agents, this AI doesn’t just support, it actively works for you, optimising processes and helping teams achieve more.

Breeze Copilot: your AI-powered assistant

  • In-app, context-aware: Breeze Copilot is integrated into the HubSpot user interface, providing real-time insights and support.
  • Prompt-driven enhancement: get help summarising data, creating content and making recommendations through enhanced AI-driven prompts.
  • Mobile-friendly: access Copilot from your phone or browser extension to get support on the go.

Breeze Agents: workflow automation

  • Social Media Agent: automatically generate optimised posts for social media so you can focus only on review and approval.
  • Content Agent: create content faster with AI that learns from your existing materials and brand voice.
  • Prospecting Agent: automate lead research and personalised outreach to help your sales team close more deals.
  • Customer Agent: train your agent with your approved content to provide instant customer service answers.

Breeze AI isn’t just about saving time—it’s about making smarter decisions, faster. For teams looking to increase productivity and eliminate inefficiencies, Breeze AI will be a game changer.

Breeze Intelligence: get ahead with data

If you’re anything like me, you know how important data is — but using that data effectively can be a different story. Breeze Intelligence from HubSpot brings B2B enrichment and buyer intent data directly into your CRM. It’s all about making more informed decisions and targeting the right people at the right time.

Key features of Breeze Intelligence:

  • Data enrichment: Automatically enrich your contact and company data in HubSpot to get a better view of your prospects and customers.
  • Buyer intent: Understand the intent behind your website visitors’ actions and prioritise outreach based on their willingness to engage.
  • Form Shortening: Optimise lead capture forms by reducing the number of fields while still capturing the necessary information.

With Breeze Intelligence, managing data becomes much easier and the insights you get will lead to better targeting and higher conversion rates in your sales funnel.

Marketing Hub & Content Hub: driving growth with AI and automation

HubSpot has made some big improvements to both the Marketing Hub and the Content Hub. As a marketer, I really appreciate how these updates make content management and lead generation more efficient while leveraging AI-powered tools to give us a real competitive advantage.

Key updates for Marketing Hub:

  • YouTube video publishing: seamlessly publish and manage YouTube content directly from HubSpot, making it easier to integrate videos into your campaigns.
  • Marketing Home: a centralised hub where all marketing activities are managed, providing a better overview of campaign performance.
  • Analytics Suite: advanced analytics for better insights into what’s working and where improvements are needed.
  • Messaging insights: gain a deeper understanding of your customer interactions and improve your messaging strategies.
  • Lead scoring: updated lead scoring models help prioritise high-value leads more effectively.
  • Dynamic Forms: improved form-building tools to increase conversion rates.
  • Google Enhanced Conversion: better integration with Google Ads for more accurate tracking of online conversions.
  • Personalised subscriptions: improved options for managing customer subscriptions and preferences.
  • SMS: improved SMS capabilities to better connect with your audience through personalised mobile communications.

Key updates for Content Hub:

  • Content remix: repurpose existing content in new formats, such as case studies, podcasts and videos to increase their reach and longevity.
  • Podcast: improved podcasting tools to better manage and promote your content.
  • Brand voice: improved tools to ensure a consistent tone and message across all content.
  • Memberships: new options for creating more engaging membership experiences for your audience.
  • Embed content: easier embedding of content across multiple platforms, making it easier to share and distribute.

These new and improved tools give marketing teams the flexibility and control they need to run effective campaigns. By streamlining content management, lead generation and data insights, teams can focus on what matters most — driving growth.
